The Tower spans over 900 years of British history. One of the best preserved fortified buildings in the world. It houses the priceless Crown Jewels, Royal Armouries, Yeoman Wardens and the ravens.

Founded by William the Conqueror in 1066 and enlarged and modified by successive sovereigns, today the Tower of London is one of the world's most famous and spectacular fortresses. Discover its 900-year history as a royal palace and fortress, prison and place of execution, mint, and jewel house.

There are dozens of amazing sights and activities at the Tower of London. We’ve chosen these as our 'Top Five'. Access to all these amazing sights is included in your Tower of London admission ticket.

Crown Jewels - Be dazzled by the 23,578 gems that make up the Crown Jewels, including the world’s most famous diamonds. You'll find this amazing collection in the Jewel House.

The White Tower - The White Tower is one of the most important historic buildings in the world. An iconic symbol of London and Britain, it is currently housing 'Power House' , a fascinating exhibition about the national institutions founded at the Tower of London.

Yeoman Warder Tours - Join a Yeoman Warder tour (included in your admission ticket) and you'll be entertained by tales from the Tower; pain and passion, treachery and torture, all delivered with a swagger and a smile!

Ravens - Legend says that the kingdom and the Tower will fall if the six ravens ever leave the Tower. The ravens have become one of the Tower's most famous sights.

Prisoners Exhibition - There have been prisoners at the Tower almost since it was built. Our new interactive displays help children and adults explore their stories.
